Our Ministries

It once was called Sunday School and was what many of us remember from our childhood. Now, Hillview Baptist Church has begun a new era in Christian Education with our Connect Group Ministry. There are classes for adults and children each Sunday morning starting at 9:00am.

We also have Connect Group Bible Study on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00pm. This very relaxed time together is sure to be just what is needed to refresh and strengthen you spiritually for the remainder of the week.

Hillview Connect Groups are simply small groups of people gathering for the purpose of accountability, edification, education, and ministering to one another just as we are called to do in God’s Word.

We hope to add more groups as our Connect Group Ministry grows.

Connect Groups are for everyone, and of course visitors are always welcome to join in for study, to learn, be uplifted and for fellowship with the Lord and each other.

Children are one of our greatest blessings, and ministering to them is our joy and passion. We strive to share the love of Jesus Christ with all children. It is our desire to watch kids grow in the love and admonition of the Lord.

We pray for all children and hope each one will come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Each Sunday morning, we offer a secure Nursery for children from birth through 2 years of age. We also have a Children’s Church class:

• 2 years old – 2nd grade

Each one of these special classes is supervised by Christian adults who care for the safety of each child and also teach valuable and rich Bible lessons that the children proactively participate in, such as:

• Bible drills
• Games
• Crafts
• Music

Each lesson that is prepared is developmentally appropriate for each age group. We welcome all children and are ready to serve and teach them with love and compassion!

Encouraging women to grow in friendship and faith and to show the love of Jesus to our community.

At Hillview, we encourage women to grow in friendship and faith and to show the love of Jesus through meetings and events and supporting those in need. We rejoice in our relationships with Jesus and each other as we desire to see lives changed both in our church and in our community.

Join us at our next Women’s Ministry meeting where we plan events and share testimonies or join our next “Girls Night Out” and enjoy games, puzzles, fellowship and food.
